Established in 1880 in New Bedford, Massachusetts, the Pairpoint Manufacturing Company originally produced coffin fittings and metalwork. In 1894, Pairpoint merged with Mt. Washington Glassworks, resulting in an astounding creative output that included fantastic cut glass objet and lamp and lamp accessories, including both cut glass and the well-known Pairpoint blown glass lamps.
